Industrial areas need a thicker system than a warehouse aisle. Where there is impact, chemical exposure or wash-down, we build up to a broadcast or screed system rather than a roll-applied coat, and detail the bunding, plinths and dock edges by hand.
We spec to the exposure. A workshop that drops steel needs impact resistance; a plating room needs chemical resistance; a dock needs UV stability and slip resistance at the threshold. They are not the same product and they should not be quoted as if they are.
