Pool surrounds take the worst of it — chlorine, salt, UV, bare feet and constant wetting. We resurface the whole area in a light-toned spray-crete with a fine broadcast texture, carried neatly up to the coping and around the edges of the shell.
Light colours matter here: a pale sandstone or beige stays noticeably cooler underfoot than dark concrete in February. The finish is rated for wet-area slip resistance and it will not lift the way pavers do when the ground moves.
